Chairman
Elected third chairman of ACBON in August 2021, Aristarque Ashige ( Aris ) fled his country in 2014 to Uganda. He has worked and volunteered as a Country Coordinator, Refugee Camps Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Trainer, Education Officer, Youth Representative and Interpreter with different national and international NGOs. He speaks French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, English, Swahili and a little German.
HEAD OF FINANCE
Victoire MUREKERENDE is a self-motivated, hardworking woman with accounting and financial skills (Bachelor’s degree in accounting), able to work on own initiative and as part of a team, good analytical and problem-solving skills, above all good collaborator and able to understand and help each CBO member of ACBON to achieved their missions.
Since relocating to Uganda, she has worked as an Acting Manager of Moban SACCO. Initiator and organizer of saving women groups to VSLA’s group’s activities.
Victoire MUREKERENDE is also a Disability Child Right activist.
She is a true finance manager of twelve years of experiences in commercial banks and four years in microfinances.
She speaks 3 international languages: Swahili, French, English and four local languages.
